Boston Travel Guide
We help you plan, compare and share your vacation in Boston.
Boston is a town of contrast combining perfectly the old one and the new one. Lanes paved at the red brick houses and historic buildings compose the landscape of the city at the sides of the skyscrapers to the frontages of smoked glass. Boston, recognized today like a great center of medicine, high technology and teaching, evokes the history with each step. The capital of Massachusetts is easily let discover with foot and preferably while following Freedom Trail. This long red layout painted on the pavements carries out towards 16 historical curiosities through the city. The Way of Freedom led, amongst other things, to majestic State House, last remains of the patriot Samuel Adams, and with the history Faneuil Hall, cradle of the Freedom which holds place of market and gathering place since 1742. The building forms today part of Quincy Market, the animated heart of the city. Boston is also a paradise of shopping with a vast choice of shops and stores. Newburry Street belongs to the most elegant streets of Boston. The shopping malls located at the neighbourhoods propose many shops of luxury. Other side Charles River, extends the town of Cambridge, famous for its university of Harvard and not less famous MIT.
