Known in the past under the name of "Siam" , Thailand is located in the middle of the South-East Asia. It is bordered in North by Laos and Myanmar, Kampuchea in the East and Malaysia in the South. The east coast is bathed by the Gulf of Thailand, the west coast by the Sea of Andaman. The most pleasant season is between November and March; it is the period when it rains less and where the weather is not yet too hot. Thailand offers a broad panel of activities for each traveller.
