The territorial collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon are in North Atlantic. It is a French archipelago in the south of Canadian island of Terre-Neuve. It is one of the last French bastions located in North America. Saint-Pierre is the chief town with 6500 inhabitants. Opposite the wearing of Saint-Pierre, there is Marins Island. In north, on Miquelon, nature is omnipresent. The places not to miss are the Saint-Pierre cathedral, with Basque architecture, the headlight of the Point to the Guns, the Saltworks, huts built by the territorial government in order to serve d' shelter at the equipment of the fishermen but also the post office of Saint-Pierre.
